California has the highest number of residents with employer-sponsored health coverage, totaling 17.95 million.
Texas and New York follow, with 13.85 million and 9.05 million residents covered, respectively.
Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Georgia also have over five million residents each receiving employer-sponsored health insurance.
Smaller states like Wyoming and Vermont have the fewest residents covered by employer health plans, with 284,000 and 300,000, respectively.
