As a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist (CHRS), I identify insurance strategies within the confines of the Affordable Care Act that help you – and your employees – succeed.
I had the honor of serving as President of the San Diego Association of Health Underwriters (SDAHU).
During this time I met with senators and congress members in D.C. and Sacramento as well as San Diego leaders to discuss the current and future state of healthcare.
These experiences sparked my passion for the politics of healthcare. Now I pass this insight along to my clients.

Born and raised in San Diego, I’m a graduate of SDSU, where I played football (Go Aztecs!). My dad also played at SDSU under the legendary Don “Air” Coryell.
I began my career at Blue Shield of CA as Regional Sales Manager and then as National Sales Manager at HMG Benefits, helping brokers secure health insurance for employers with lower-income employees.
A few more things about me: I love San Diego State Athletics and am obsessed with shoes – retro Air Jordans to be precise. I’ve owned just under 500 pairs; but not all at once.
When I’m not tracking down the best health plans for my clients, you’ll find me enjoying time with my beautiful wife Kate and our wonderfully blended family.

Amy is a newer addition to the team but has wowed everyone with her expertise, positive attitude and desire to step into any situation and assist. Amy helps clients understand their benefits, holds the insurance companies to their promises and always has in mind what is best for the employer/employee. Amy has a passion for Yoga and her favorite quote is: “Everything in moderation, including moderation.”

Amie works directly with individuals, families and Medicare-eligible individuals to find the plan that best meets their benefit, financial and doctor-network needs. She spends hours researching plans and guiding the people who need it most through access-to-care obstacles. And she does it all with a big smile.

Senior Account Manager/Rock Star
As Bill’s right-hand woman, Tamara’s loyalty and dedication to the company are what make clients’ experiences best in class. Tamara helps with claims, finds doctors, navigates billing issues and advises employers and employees alike on how to make the system work better. She also knows whom to call when a sticky situation needs to be resolved. Best piece of advice she’s ever received: Never stop learning or growing.
Shelley handles everything from IT to HR. She coordinates seminars, greets every client who comes through the door and has the pulse of the office. Shelley’s can-do attitude matches her want-to spirit. And her ability to adapt proves she can do it all. Her favorite part of the job is that her varied tasks always keep her on her toes.
LaCretia is a true swiss army knife of insurance talent. Her role has evolved from Office Manager and Life agent to Account Executive to Group Service Manager and Group Sales Agent. What LaCretia values most is being able to help clients fulfil their personal or business needs thru insurance.
LaCretia loves spending time with her four children, traveling, watching sports and being involved with her church. The best piece of advice she’s ever received was: “First impressions are the most lasting impression.”
