As a Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist (CHRS), I identify insurance strategies within the confines of the Affordable Care Act that help you – and your employees – succeed.
I had the honor of serving as President of the San Diego Association of Health Underwriters (SDAHU).
During this time I met with senators and congress members in D.C. and Sacramento as well as San Diego leaders to discuss the current and future state of healthcare.
These experiences sparked my passion for the politics of healthcare. Now I pass this insight along to my clients.
Preparation determines success. And when my clients know what's coming, they’re able to meet every deadline and requirement with confidence.
Going above and beyond
In 2017, I was recognized for my work in the health insurance business market with the prestigious Neil R. Crosby Achievement in Excellence Award.
This honor is reserved for those who exemplify service and dedication, which I’m proud to say are the hallmarks of Hammett Health.
Born and raised in San Diego, I’m a graduate of SDSU, where I played football (Go Aztecs!). My dad also played at SDSU under the legendary Don “Air” Coryell.
I began my career at Blue Shield of CA as Regional Sales Manager and then as National Sales Manager at HMG Benefits, helping brokers secure health insurance for employers with lower-income employees.
A few more things about me: I love San Diego State Athletics and am obsessed with shoes – retro Air Jordans to be precise. I’ve owned just under 500 pairs; but not all at once.
When I’m not tracking down the best health plans for my clients, you’ll find me enjoying time with my beautiful wife Kate and our wonderfully blended family.

Broker/Consultant
Always available to help with any escalated issues or acute problems that present themselves. Bill will be the main driver when it comes to health plan, quoting and enrollment strategy. As the owner of the agency there is no issue too big or too small…if it’s on your mind and you want help, Bill is available every day of the year to assist.
Ana (Se Habla Espanol)
Account Manager
Ana’s main focus with Hammett Health is on working directly with employers on escalated issues as well as lead our team in renewals, new group submissions and manages our tightly defined timelines for all clients’ plan years.
Araceli (Se Habla Espanol)
Customer Success Representative
Araceli occupies the valuable position of working with employees and employers on any escalated issues regarding claims, billing, finding doctors, helping with prescription drug issues and more. She’s also the one tasked with any special projects requiring her to consult with several different stakeholders, specifically our technology based tools such as Salesforce, Ease and our HR & Compliance solutions.

Account Processor
Anastasia is our champion when it comes to enrollments, terminations and plan changes. She is adept at navigating dozens of systems to make sure we have a timely and accurate flow of information between our insurance companies, clients an their employees.

Operations
Kate’s main role is in the management of the office, technology and HR needs. Kate is mostly behind the scenes, but just like the rest of us, always available to help should you need anything in the operations realm.
