Health insurance by the numbers

In 2023, the United States achieved a record high national health insurance rate of 92.8% and a record low uninsurance rate of 7.2%. This increase in insured individuals is beneficial for physicians, as more people with insurance are likely to seek medical care. However, there is uncertainty about whether these trends will continue. The Congressional Budget Office has provided projections for health insurance rates from this year to 2034. These projections include data related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplaces, Medicare, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Click here for article.
