Five Strategic HR Priorities For 2021

The COVID-19 pandemic has thrust HR leaders into the spotlight, making them essential in navigating the safe return to the workplace. Future Workplace, in partnership with Boston University’s Questrom School of Business HRPI, conducted a survey of 200 C-level HR leaders to understand the lasting impact of the pandemic on work and the workforce.   • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): 67% of HR leaders prioritize initiatives aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • The turmoil of 2020 has underscored the importance of addressing individual human concerns, such as employee well-being and DEI initiatives.

  • HR strategies are evolving to accommodate the new ways of working, with a strong emphasis on supporting employee well-being and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
