The End of COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave in Sight

Governor Newsom announced that California's COVID-19 State of Emergency will end on February 28, 2023, and the 2022 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave is scheduled to sunset on December 31, 2022. Many local governments' States of Emergency have also ended or are ending soon, with L.A.'s state of emergency ending on February 1, 2023, and its COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave ordinance set to end on February 15, 2023.
